• Research data — the queries you submit and the research results, history, and any saved reports associated with your account.
• Billing information — when you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Dodo Payments. We do not store your full card details; we receive limited subscription and transaction status information from Dodo.
• Usage data — basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security, analytics, and improving the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including running research queries and storing your history.
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Dodo Payments.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. account verification, password resets, billing receipts) via our email provider, Resend.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
• To communicate with you about changes to the Service, when necessary.

3. How Research Works

When you submit a research query, aipb retrieves publicly available information from search providers (including Google, Bing, and Reddit search results via BrightData) and uses large language models to synthesize that information into a researched article with citations.

We do not use your queries, research results, or account data to train any AI models, ours or third-party. Your research history is private to your account and can be deleted at any time from within the app.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate aipb. Each processes a limited set of data necessary for its function:

• Dodo Payments — subscription billing and payment processing.
• BrightData — search engine and Reddit data retrieval for research queries.
• Resend — delivery of transactional emails (verification, password reset, receipts).
• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and email routing infrastructure.
• Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) — anonymized traffic and usage analytics, only after you accept our cookie banner.
• Microsoft Clarity — session recordings and heatmaps to understand product usability. Runs in an anonymized, cookie-free mode by default and only links data across your visits after you accept our cookie banner.
• Google AdSense serves ads on our blog pages only. It never runs inside the research app.
• Trustpilot receives your name and email address after you complete a few research queries, so it can send you one invitation to review AI-Powered Buy. Leaving a review is optional.

These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences.

Our blog at aipoweredbuy.com/blog shows ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. No ads or advertising cookies are used inside the research app.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the Service is used, so we can improve it. These only load in a full tracking capacity after you accept our cookie banner. Microsoft Clarity runs in an anonymized, cookie-free mode even before you decide. You can decline analytics cookies at any time from the banner, or by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and research data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual research entries at any time from your history. To request full account deletion, contact us at the email address below and we will erase your account data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and httpOnly authentication cookies. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information to the best of our ability.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page or, where appropriate, by email.
